Raquel Caldeira

Raquel Caldeira is a Senior Policy Associate at J-PAL Africa where she works on the African Scholars Program for the Digital Agricultural Innovations and Services Initiative (DAISI) and for the Learning for All Initiative (LAI). She also works with J-PAL Africa’s Education and Training team.

In her prior role, Raquel worked as a Research Associate for J-PAL Africa, concentrating on studies focused at addressing the youth unemployment crisis in South Africa.

Raquel holds a Master’s Degree in Applied Behavioural Economics from Tilburg University and an Honours degree in Economics from Stellenbosch University.
